We use a hub-and-spoke approach: one strong primary location serving Iowa City/Coralville/North Liberty, plus occasional satellite sessions for Cedar Rapids, Tiffin, and nearby areas.
After-School Tutoring & Homework Help
- Math, reading, writing, science support
- Homework help and study skills
- Youth mentoring
- ESL support where needed
Funding: grants, donations, and/or program fees depending on the funding source.
Weekend Islamic Studies
- Qur’an reading and memorization (age-appropriate)
- Basic Islamic knowledge, adab/akhlaq, daily duas
- Clear expectations, consistent routine
Funding: parent tuition and community support (not grant-funded).
Fulani Language & Cultural Lessons
- Language basics (speaking + common phrases)
- History, identity, and respect for elders
- Community values and intergenerational connection
Funding: program fees and community support.
Starter schedule (example)
- 2–3 weekdays: after-school tutoring (hub location)
- Weekend: Islamic studies + Fulani language/culture (hub location)
- Monthly: optional satellite session for Cedar Rapids/Tiffin area
We keep class sizes controlled to maintain quality.
